For experience and cooperation – to Karelia: The Ministry of Economic Development of Karelia invites to take part in the annual forum “Karelia 2025”
The forum will be held in Petrozavodsk on the 18th-20th of September, 2025. This is a unique event that will bring together leading experts in the field of public procurement and business to discuss the most pressing issues and prospects for regional development.
The participants will enjoy a rich program: business negotiations between businesses and government bodies; master classes by leading industry experts; exchange of experience and knowledge in the national projects and federal target programs implementation; presentations of innovative solutions and technologies that help improve procurement activities efficiency; round tables and discussion platforms on the key issues of interaction between business and the government; visits to industrial facilities and technology parks in the region, investment sites, as well as a cultural program with a visit to the unique natural attractions of Karelia.
– Every year, Karelia becomes the center of competence in the field of procurement. The country main regulators in the field of contractual relations, customers and leading experts gather on one platform to talk about changes in the legislation on the contract system, to discuss the most complex and important issues with the participants. The forum is also an effective platform for interaction between business and the government, exchange of experience, knowledge, plans, – noted Olga Bortnik, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Karelia.
Particular attention will be paid to the current changes and prospects for the contract system development, including innovations in the construction industry, in medicine, in the field of IT technologies, support for business and the forms of cooperation with the state, the possibilities of artificial intelligence in doing business.
At the forum, the participants will present successful cases and experienced practices in the field of public procurement, PPP, and digital financial assets.

Let us recall that last year the economic forum “Karelia 20/24” in Petrozavodsk gathered more than 400 participants. Among the participants, there were representatives of the executive bodies and development agencies of almost 30 regions of Russia, federal development institutions, public organizations, investors, business representatives and the delegations from the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Belarus, and the Republic of Turkey.
